Morning collection and road journey
Meet your driver guide at approximately 6:00 am for the drive from Nairobi toward Nakuru. Leave the city early and cross the Rift Valley landscape with a comfort break during the journey. An escarpment viewpoint stop is considered only where it can be made safely without significantly reducing park time.
On arrival, complete the confirmed entry arrangements and begin the park circuit. Exact arrival depends on traffic, your hotel location and the gate selected.
Lake Nakuru wildlife drive
Explore accessible areas with a guide who chooses the route around current conditions and sightings. Look across open habitats and woodland edges for wildlife, allowing time at promising encounters. A rhino or giraffe sighting gives an opportunity to watch quietly while learning about the park’s protected environment.
Bird viewing follows the available shoreline and suitable stopping places. Flamingo presence can change substantially, so the day is built around the wider park rather than a guaranteed pink shoreline.
Lunch and a further park circuit
Pause for the included lunch at the confirmed venue or an approved picnic site, according to the written programme. Rest before a further wildlife circuit, using the remaining time for another habitat or an accessible viewpoint. Your guide keeps an eye on the return schedule without rushing every stop.
There is no scheduled Lake Naivasha boat ride, Crescent Island walk or visit to another reserve. Those additions would require a different itinerary.
Leave the park and return to Nairobi
Depart during the afternoon for the private road return. A comfort stop can be arranged along the way, and the guide updates you on the expected arrival as traffic conditions become clear. Plan for a hotel drop off around 6:00 pm, with the understanding that a long road excursion can return later.
The tour finishes at the agreed Nairobi point. Dinner, overnight accommodation and any later transfers remain outside the package.

Allow roughly 3 to 4 hours each way from Nairobi, with timing dependent on traffic and the park gate used. Times include neither a guarantee of traffic conditions nor a fixed wildlife viewing schedule; your collection and expected return are confirmed for your hotel and travel date.
Private transport means that your road vehicle and driver guide serve your party. Public attractions, museum galleries and scheduled host presentations may also welcome other visitors. The park circuit uses tracks and viewpoints open on the travel date.
This route involves a long day in the vehicle. It is best for guests comfortable with an early departure and several hours of driving in each direction.
